Extras and add-ons

While bottles come with complimentary mixers including juices and sodas, if you’re looking to make more mixology-forward drinks, you can add on these extras to your order:

Liqueurs: We have a variety of liqueurs available by the bottle so you can get a little bit more advanced with your mixology!

Other extras: We also offer Water, Red Bull, ResQ Water, Ginger Beer, or any of the aforementioned by the bucket.

What spirit should I choose for bottle service?

Vodka: This distilled spirit is made by distilling rye, wheat, or potatoes. Clear and smooth, it has a neutral flavor that pairs well with a variety of mixers. Here are some drinks you can make with vodka:

  • Vodka soda: Combine 1 part vodka with about 2 parts soda water, and a twist of lemon or lime and you’ve got a simple but delicious cocktail.
  • Screwdriver: Vodka and orange juice is a killer combo, but you can combine it with other juices, too!
  • Moscow Mule: Combine vodka, a splash of lime juice, and ginger beer for a refreshing Moscow Mule-type flavor sensation.

Rum: This distilled spirit is made from sugarcane. At Oxford, we have a variety of different rums to choose from, from light to dark. Here are some drinks to try with rum:

  • Rum and Cola: Combine rum and cola for a mixed drink that’s sweet with a kick.
  • Fruity rum mixer: Choose a dark or a light rum, or combine a little bit of both, and then add a mix of juices like orange, cranberry, and/or pineapple for a tropical-tasting drink.
  • Gombo: Add some orange juice and Mountain Dew or similar soda to spiced rum for an intriguing mixed drink.

Tequila: A mexican liquor made from agave, tequila is great for sipping solo, but also tastes great in a variety of drinks. Try these concoctions:

  • Tequila sunrise: Mix together 1 part tequila, 2 parts orange juice, and add an optional splash of grenadine. Party time!
  • Tequila soda: Combine 1 part tequila with soda water and lemon or lime for a simple but delicious refresher.

Gin: This is a clear alcoholic spirit, distilled from grain or malt and flavored with juniper berries. You can enjoy its herbal flavor in these mixed drinks:

  • Gin and tonic: Mix roughly one part gin, 2 parts tonic, and a squeeze of lime juice for a classic beverage.
  • Gin rickey: Same as the above, but with club soda instead of tonic. Refreshing!
  • Gin with juice: Sip like you’re Snoop Dogg! Gin tastes great mixed with a variety of different juices.

Scotch: This is a type of whisky that is produced in Scotland, made from malted barley and aged in oak barrels for at least 3 years. It has a unique smokiness to the flavor that can differentiate it from bourbon.

  • Scotch and soda: One part Scotch to about 2 parts soda.
  • Highball: One part scotch to 1-2 parts ginger ale or ginger beer, with lemon slices.

Whiskey & Bourbon: Whiskey (or sometimes whisky, depending on where the spirit is produced) is a distilled alcoholic drink made from fermented grain mash which is aged in casks.

Bourbon is a type of whiskey made from corn, which hails from Kentucky. It has a caramelly and rich flavor.

Try these drinks with whiskey and bourbon:

  • Whiskey sour: This is a classic yet simple and slightly sweet mixed drink. Make it with about 2 parts whiskey, 1 part lemon juice, and 1 part simple syrup, honey, or agave.
  • Old fashioned: Another classic, and classy, way to drink up. Make an Old Fashioned with bourbon, Angostura bitters, and a little sugar.

Cognac: This is a high quality type of brandy, made specifically in Cognac, which is in the western portion of France. It’s stellar solo, but it can also be mixed to perfection in these drinks:

Sidecar: 2 parts cognac, 1 part lemon juice, and a splash of simple syrup come together for a memorable mixed drink.

Cognac and ginger: This drink is simple, but tastes like money. Combine 1 part cognac, 2 parts ginger beer, and a squeeze of citrus if desired.
