The Oxford Social Club has reached a major milestone: our first birthday! In one regard, it feels like just yesterday that we opened our doors; at the same time, it feels like we’ve enjoyed so many good times in our brief tenure that it’s hard to imagine it’s just been a year.
One thing’s for certain, though: we’re ready to celebrate, and we would like you to join us! Here, we’ll help you get into the celebratory spirit by dishing the details on our upcoming birthday bash and discussing why you simply must attend!

Don’t you dare think that we’re letting our birthday pass without a party. But one night of fun is definitely not enough, so we’re celebrating with two nights of extra special entertainment and a definite S.K.A.M artist takeover! Here’s what’s on tap:

Why should you celebrate The Oxford Social Club’s first birthday?
1. It’s the place to be. Since The Oxford Social Club opened a year ago, it has quickly become the place to see and be seen in San Diego. Located in the heart of the bustling Gaslamp district, the Oxford Social Club is located in the prestigious Pendry San Diego luxury hotel. Like every other offering from the Pendry, the Oxford Social Club has established itself as a venue that is top notch in terms of drinks, entertainment, food, and service.
Effectively bringing the boisterous energy of San Diego’s 5th Avenue indoors, the Oxford Social Club has become one of the top destinations in San Diego!
2. The entertainment. We’re like you, a little different. Settling for average entertainment isn’t our style. At The Oxford Social Club, we take great pains to seek out the hottest entertainers and to host them in our space so that you can enjoy an incredible evening out. We’re constantly trying to improve and innovate, and feature an ever-evolving music program that features the high-energy stylings of trendsetting national and local deejays. Whether it’s a Halloween Costume Contest or a set from a talented DJ, we’ve always got something good coming up. 3. Our drinks. There are bars…and then there is The Oxford Social Club. Our creative cocktail menu, marrying classic mixed drinks with innovative mixology, is guaranteed to take your evening out to intoxicating new levels.
Our drink menu features an eclectic yet well curated cocktail list, including champagne cocktails, creative variations on the Moscow Mule, stirred and shaken drinks, and even party-friendly “community provisions” designed to serve a crowd. In addition, we also have an extensive beer and wine list, so there’s really a beverage option for every drinker!
4. Bottle service. In addition to our extensive cocktail menu, we also offer bottle service in the club. Bottle service, also referred to as table service, is the ultimate VIP experience at Oxford Social Club in San Diego.
First off, the service includes the quickest entry into the venue for you and your entire group. From there, you can luxe it up at your own private table with an area to sit, dance, and socialize, complete with your own server, busser, and security staff. Your purchase of bottle service comps your entire group’s entry into the club, and your entire spend goes toward the bottles of your choice. Table service often includes bottle presentations with sparklers and signs, and special requests can be honored. If you want to get noticed, or have comfortable real estate inside the club, bottle service is the way to go.

5. The people. Part of why people go to clubs is to enjoy the incredible people watching. At The Oxford Social Club, we’ve got plenty of beautiful and interesting people to watch in our space! It’s never a boring night out at the Pendry, it’s true.

6. The parties! Well, we mentioned them before, but it’s worth mentioning them again; infusion through repetition, right?
To celebrate our one year birthday at The Oxford Social Club, we’re celebrating with two nights of great entertainment. On Friday, February 9, we’ll showcase Eric Dlux with special guest Saint Clair; then, on Saturday, Feb 10, we’ll keep the good times going with DJ Five with special guest Saint Clair
