The Best Cocktails to Make for Your Super Bowl Party

a group of people around each other

The Super Bowl is right around the corner, and if you are anything like us, then this means one thing: it is time for a Super Bowl party. Sure, a lot of people focus on Super Bowl apps they can share at their gathering, but no real party is complete without the right cocktails. Need a little inspiration? We have a list of some of the best cocktails that you can make for your upcoming gathering.

Warm Apple Cider

Even in San Diego, the end of January can bring some chilly night time temps. Keep yourself and your guests feeling warm with some spiked apple cider. This recipe is super easy and it go right in the crock pot. Let’s be honest, it’s more fun than having a crock pot full of meatballs.

Here’s how you make it:

  • Heat 1 gallon apple cider and 5 cinnamon sticks in your crock pot on high.
  • Add one sliced orange and one sliced apple.
  • Leave on heat for one hour.
  • Reduce to low and leave on for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Add two cups of spiced rum before serving.

Jell-O Shots

If you really want to get your Super Bowl Party going, then you need Jell-O Shots. After all, they are made with Gatorade and every football player knows that Gatorade is the key to winning any party. Just boil three cups Gatorade, add 1 oz of unflavored gelatin, remove from the heat and add 1 ½ cups of vodka.

Then you can put your Jell-O into small shot glasses and refrigerate for a few hours until they have formed. Easy as that!

The Manmosa

The Manmosa is the perfect drink for Super Bowl Sunday because it mixes two of our favorite drinks together. You have one part mimosa, which is the classic Sunday drink, and one part light beer, which is your standard football beverage. All you need to do is mix beer with orange juice and you have a fun treat for your Sunday party. Plus, if you really want to get things going, you can even add a shot of vodka to the mix.

Of Course, if you aren’t in the mood for making all of these cocktails, you can always come down to Oxford Social Club, the best club in San Diego. Our seasoned bartenders know just what it takes to create the perfect cocktails for any night out on the town, whether you are celebrating the Super Bowl or just looking to have a little fun.
