Since we’re paying tribute to local talent, we thought it was only appropriate to feature local entertainment too. DJ Ayla Simone is based in San Diego, and has held residencies at the Omnia Nightclub, W Hotel, and Hard Rock Hotel. This talented DJ has been nominated for the Best Open Format DJ award offered by the E&R Awards. She has a technical skillset that you don’t find in many DJs today, and also serves as a Billboard Music reporter.
DJ Ayla Simone often plays in California, though she’s also played in destinations including New York, Miami, Houston, Canada, and even Switzerland. She’s played supporting sets for top artists such as R Kelly, Juicy J, Paul Oakenfold, Morgan Page, and more. She’s known for her skill in mixing many different genres into a cohesive set, and is talented in reading her audience and delivering music that’s well-received. Paired with her engaging stage presence and high-energy mixes, she’s a talented and sought-after nightclub DJ who you’ll definitely want to hear live.
